Trying Out Brainzyme

A psychotherapist who specialises in therapy for people with ADHD who also has ADHD just casually recommended this product Focus by Brainzyme, yes on TikTok. She said that they have been great to help her focus. And yes, I jumped on the website asked them if it was appropriate for kids too and well, ordered enough for four people to try out their original formula for a month.

As an adult I tried the UK NHS first-line prescription, I can't remember the name just now, and week one was great, I didn't even finish the first cup of morning coffee. I could feel my mind settle even on day one. On week two day two with the increase to the full dose the anxiety levels were off the Richter scale. I did the check in with the prescribing nurse and we looked at trying an alternative as the next step. The prescription was issued, but I still haven't picked it up, that was about five months ago. Instead I am back on my minimum of seven cups of coffee a day.

New year's day seems like a good day to start new things and so we unboxed the package, have read up on the dosage and come up with a plan about what time we'll be taking our supplements.

Even the way they layout the directions for use and the typically asked questions is easy to understand.

The dosage essentially is start low and build up to a maximum of 6 tablets a day for adults and 2 tablets a day for children over 10 and absolutely do not exceed the dose. So start with 2 tablets a day for adults and 1 tablet a day for children 60 minutes after food. We'll be taking them after our breakfasts. That will mean having breakfast 30 minutes earlier than usual.

In the directions for use it says that you can take them alongside your medication but at a different time of day. None of us are on medication as we start this trial.

So, bring on 2nd January 2023 and we'll be documenting how it goes for us over the next month.

Here are Diana and James unboxing the first month's supply from Brainzyme
